Some lake bottom's can drop off more quickly than others. The WeedRoller comes with a standard 4.5 feet of depth clearance which will fit most applications. However, if your environment requires a longer reach to the bottom of the lake, a deep water extension kit can be added to the WeedRoller to ensure the motor head is far enough above the surface of the water. Mounting the motor head high enough to avoid lake waves, either by wind or watercraft, is recommended.

The deep water extension kit contains all the components you need for an additional 2.5 feet of clearance. A maximum of 2 extension kits, giving you 9.5 feet of clearance, will not void your factory warranty. When adding an extension kit, you may want to consider adding on to your AC power cord.
